KAT MINER, FOR THE DAILY PRESS Participants getting down and dirty at the Maverick’s Mud Run held Saturday at Stater Brothers Stadium in Adelanto. The event featured music, obstacles and lots of mud. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Veteran’s Home of California-Barstow, Sultana High School Avid Program and High Desert Youth Center.
